Rare & Natural Tugtupite Crystal from Greenland.

Tugtupite from Greenland is rare and closely related to Sodalite, and has similar cleansing properties. It has a strong energy, and initially you may feel uncomfortable to work with it. This can be remedied by meditating with or programming the crystal, so your energy and the energy of the crystal become attuned to one another. It will then call to your attention anything that is in need of clearing, before cleansing and purifying the energetic body and lymphatic system.

Tugtupite clears and opens the Chakras, especially from the Heart upwards, also the higher Chakras, above the Crown and Upper Crown, allowing pure light to flow into the body. It also warms the Heart, encouraging compassion and unconditional love, and leaving a sense of clarity and equilibrium in its wake. The pink coloring becomes stronger with exposure to sunlight, and fades if kept in darkness, reminding us to let our own love and light shine in the world, rather than hiding it away.

It is tenebrescent, meaning that it possesses the fascinating ability to change color when it is exposed to sunlight. Under ultraviolet radiation, it has a crimson fluorescence, and it is a non-radioactive substance.

In the metaphysical world, Tugtupite is considered to be a stone of unconditional love. In Inuit legend, it is attributed to "Tutu," or the "reindeer girl." It is said that Tutu gave birth to her firstborn child in the mountains and, during the process, life-giving blood seeped down into the stones, creating tugtupite. Thus, tugtupite has always represented life, fertility and romance. Upon carrying this stone with you or, preferably, wearing it on a necklace on a regular basis, you should experience the opening of both the heart and thymus (or higher heart) chakras. These chakras would then be excited by the vibration of this crystal and awaken and intensify inside of you the feeling of love, in its totality and magnificence.

In fact, the Inuit claimed that the stone itself can glow red according to the intensity of the love felt between lovers. In order to experience the astounding transformation awaiting you in the company of tugtupite, all you must do is be willing to embrace the intensity of the stone. Beware, however, that the opening of your heart does not only ensure an incoming of happiness, but also grief and sorrow stemming from traumatic events from your past.

This may initially prove uncomfortable, but rest assured that these emotions can then be processed in a healthy way and then released, ultimately allowing for positive spiritual growth. Tugtupite has also traditionally been used for its ability to shield its keeper or wearer from many kinds of negative energy, and it is still sought out for this purpose.

The black/dark green inclusions are usually Aegirine, the white Albeit or is Analcime.
